Hello ya fucks, and welcome to Episode 188 of BindTortureKast.  For this one, I am being joined by Lydia from Dead Air Podcast to help me review Adam Wingard's recent Netflix film adaptation of the mega-popular and ultra-loved "Death Note" series.  Lydia and I are both gigantic fans of the anime, and have been planning this episode for months, so here we are!  While there will be a segment devoted to direct anime comparisons, you can listen to most of this review with zero knowledge of the series up until this new film, so worry not.  We wanted to make this thing as listener-friendly as possible, so put the cries of "racism" and "whitewashing" aside, and grab an apple for our review of this bold little film!  And speaking just for myself, I don't give two fucking shits if anyone thinks we are "wrong" or "misinformed"; its a podcast folks, not a statement of fact!  As always, thank you so much to Lydia for coming on and helping me out with this thing.  If there was ever an episode that absolutely demanded her presence, its this one!
